Multi-platinum-selling, GRAMMY®, CMA and ACM Award-winning country music group Shenandoah (8 Track Entertainment) celebrated a major milestone Wednesday night, October 28, performing to a sold out crowd at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium. The historic concert marked the band’s first-ever headlining appearance at the iconic venue and served as a highlight of Shenandoah’s ongoing 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Joining Shenandoah for the evening were special guests Jamey Johnson, Alexandra Kay, Mae Estes and Adam Sanders, who helped make the milestone performance a memorable celebration of the band’s enduring legacy and four decades of impact on country music.

During the evening, management surprised the group by presenting 2x Platinum plaques for “Two Dozen Roses.”

For 40 years, Shenandoah has remained one of country music’s most beloved and influential groups, earning 13 No. 1 singles and a reputation for rich harmonies, heartfelt storytelling and timeless songs. Since emerging as one of the genre’s premier acts in the late 1980s, the band has delivered a catalog of classics that includes “Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South,” “Two Dozen Roses,” “Next to You, Next to Me,” “The Moon Over Georgia,” “Ghost in This House” and “I Want to Be Loved Like That.”

The sold out Ryman performance marked a landmark moment in Shenandoah’s 40-year journey, bringing the group’s celebrated music to one of country music’s most revered stages for an evening honoring the songs, stories and milestones that have defined the band’s career.

Shenandoah’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at the Ryman Auditorium was produced by Johnstone Entertainment and Six String Southern Productions.
