“Making music is medicine” has never sounded so apt. Meet CORM!! Aka Dr. Jason Cormier, world renowned neurosurgeon and EDM producer extraordinaire.

 

CORM!! aka Dr. Jason Cormier grew up poor and black with high hopes of NBA stardom. But when these were dashed, he beat the odds, fought his way back and started creating EDM beats, driving race cars and soon became one of America's top brain surgeons.

 

CORM!! Started DJing in high school, forming a band with Carl “Groove” Martin (foudner of “SHAI”) and Marcus Lyle Brown (CEO of Believe Entertainment). Musically, CORM!! finds his roots in the past and present finding inspiration in the music of Run DMC, Jam Master Jay, Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri, T-Pain, Lil John, DJ Diesel, Skrillex, Diplo, Aoki, Mata, Tiesto, Mike Williams, R3hab, adding just a splash of Southern jazz guitar funk!

 

Each song was produced by Corm!! and harbors a different inspiration. Music is both the mind and heart’s right to breathe and blossom. He recalls a recording session at his in-home studio, where the neighborhood security guard demanded that he lower the music. “Bass so loud I’ll knock the f**king neighbors house down”, captures the heart and soul of his passion for music in a way that music is the deepest voice that should be heard, felt, pounded and never silenced. What a happier life to just feel the pulsating vibes of 808’s & Roland keyboard flowing in sync with electronic cadences to create Dubstep, Trap, Future House, Big Room and Pop.
